Welcome to the DLR Events website – a comprehensive guide to what’s happening in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council area. We’ve brought everything to one place so you won’t miss a thing.

With a full calendar of arts, literature, sports, music 
and family events, there’s something for everyone. Best of all, many of our events are FREE for everyone to enjoy. Check out the archive and galleries for a look at all the great days out from 2009.

New Year, new beginnings and a brand new event for January! Dlrevents will Kickstart the year with an action-packed day of fun and games, geared to get you out and active in the New Year with bouncy castles, sports and a treasure hunt around Dun Laoghaire.

In March the action continues with Gravitation 2010, with skaters and BMX-riders descending on Monkstown Skate Park for 2 action-packed days of demos, comps and giveaways.

Some of the firm favourites are lined up to see us through spring and into summer. Celebrate Easter with wacky hats and teacup rides at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, kick off the summer with Outdoor Movies in the Park on the June Bank holiday, and celebrate the 4th of July with a stars-and-stripes themed Teddy Bear’s Picnic.

And that only brings us to July! Dlrevents promises more great events to follow such as Dad’s Day Off before the summer ends and Halloween delights with Samhain, keeping the fun outdoors even as the days get dark.
