dlr Library Voices will welcome Elizabeth Day and Lucy Caldwell to County Hall next month for the first event of our Spring literary programme.

Elizabeth Day will be reading from  Scissors  Paper  Stone,  a  hugely accomplished debut that looks at the power struggles that 
exist between a  mother,   father  and  their  daughter.   It’s  disturbing  and  yet  brilliantly  observed  and  is  sure  to  give  book  groups  plenty to discuss. 

Lucy  Caldwell will be reading from  The  Meeting  Point,   a  passionate  and  sensitive  exploration  of  the  lies  that  make  family  life  possible  and the compromises contained in every  expression  of  love.   It  was  recently  featured  on  BBC  Radio  4’s  ‘Book  at  Bedtime’.
