The 2011 programme for dlr Poetry Now has been launched online at www.poetrynow.ie.

As ever dlr Poetry Now is proud to present the very best of Irish and international poetry and this year will welcome poets from countries including the United States, Poland, Spain and Estonia.

Highlights at this year’s festival will include a keynote address by renowned Canadian poet and critic Anne Carson and a reading from last year’s Irish Times Poetry Now Award winner, Sinéad Morrissey.

The 2011 festival also hosts workshops for emerging poets, a children’s reading and the prestigious Irish Times Poetry Now Award and the Rupert and Eithne Strong Award.
