SOURCE is an exhibition showcasing contemporary craft in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County which will take place in the Concourse, County Hall, in February. It highlights innovative work by new and established craft makers who live in, work in or are originally from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown and has been curated by jewellery designer Angela O’Kelly. The exhibition includes work by Denis Brown, Trudy Feighery, Naomi Fry, Jane Groves, Ciara Harrison, Alison Kay, Tara Ní Nualláin, Laura O’Hagan, Alex Scott and Grainne Watts. It presents fine craftsmanship of the highest quality and focuses on innovative designers and applied artists using craft processes and a combination of traditional and new materials and techniques. Calligraphy, ceramics, glass, mixed media and textiles are all featured. Join our mediation team to explore, engage with and examine SOURCE through a series of free workshops, demonstrations, curatorial and exhibitors’ talks. SOURCE opens to the public on Friday 10th February and runs until Monday 27th February. It will be open Monday - Friday from 10am-5pm and Saturdays from 12-5pm (closed Sundays).
